SWPM worked with a fire department to develop their strategic 5-year plan, which they then used to obtain funding.
A county needed to develop a growth management plan, to determine which areas should be protected from future growth and which areas were suitable for growth and development. SWPM combined forces with one of our strategic partners to develop such a plan. Community involvement was a key part of the process, with over 160 citizens attending meetings and participating in the development of the plan.
A state recreation department, experiencing an increase in visitors, a change in visitor recreation needs, and budget cuts, needed to look closely at all phases of their organization to develop actions to help streamline procedures, provide for the professional needs of the staff, make the systems more efficient, and maximize its potential. SWPM developed a five-year strategic plan to address those needs.
