Case Studies

A broadcasting firm wanted to demonstrate the difference between two markets to develop its marketing and advertising sales campaign. SWPM analyzed the two markets and developed the arguments to help the firm prepare its marketing campaign and successfully sell advertising time for its targeted market.


A family-owned business wanted to investigate the profitability of opening a new branch of their store. They needed: to determine whether to close an existing store; to position the new store in the local market; to evaluate their branding strategies; and strategies for marketing to new customers. SWPM provided marketing support in several ways. We recruited and facilitated focus groups to measure public opinion about the endeavor, the products, and to determine whether current marketing strategies had been effective. We created a transition plan for employees to facilitate a smooth change. We provided marketing strategies, including ad placement, media coverage, and press releases at the time of the new store’s opening.
